Overview:
This journey begins in the beautiful seaside city of Cape Town, where you can enjoy private custom tours to Cape Point Nature Reserve, the Cape winelands, and the city itself. Board the luxurious Rovos Rail for a two-night journey through the heart of South Africa, stopping at Maitjiesfontein, a Victorian town in the Karoo desert, and Kimberly diamond mines.
Continue by train to Pretoria, where your hotel has views of the Union Buildings, South Africa's political capital. Your wildlife safari begins the following day with a private flight to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, followed by two nights in Chobe National Park, where the elephant population exceeds 20,000.
Take a scenic flight over the Victoria Falls before landing in Livingstone, Zambia for two nights at a luxurious hotel. Here you can shop, visit traditional Zambian villages, cruise the Zambezi river, and photograph white rhino up close.
