Spirits In Stone presents "The New Face of African Art" -
a benefit for the the Shona Artist Fund in Pasadena.

Actress Jane Seymour, Shona collector and enthusiast and Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra conductor, Jeffrey Kahane, co-chair and champion this event for benefit of the Shona artists.

Spirits In Stone will commence a 10 day benefit exhibition in Pasadena at the Ross Gallery Chapel at the Neighborhood Church, 201 N. Orange Grove Blvd just off the 134 Freeway.
Indoors and Outdoors - The exhibition will feature all new artwork, never before exhibited, and focus on garden sculpture sited in the chapel's exquisitely manicured gardens. From palm size to monumental works, the diversity and beauty of Shona sculpture will astound.
The exhibit will also include fine baskets woven by tribeswomen of Southern Africa - intricate Zulu, colorful Swazi and earthy Botswana weavings.

Guest Artist - Passmore Mashaya, Shona sculptor from Zimbabwe, will be sculpting and talking about his ancient culture, folklore and artistry.
